Visit Heritage - La Rochelle is a free application that cultural values the work of museums and monuments through several themed tours:
- Architectural Walking offering to discover the 11 most beautiful buildings in the city in 1 hour;
- Museums that present Objective 5 accredited museums Museums of France of the town and whose visit helps to understand the various facets of the history of the city;
- Courses Quebec that crosses memorial sites illustrating the special relationship between Québec and La Rochelle;
- The Grand Tour for a complete tour of the city.
Anecdotes, historical information and practical information to facilitate the visit accompany each course. Geolocation allows him to identify and realize the route to discover the original and fun city.
Visit Heritage - La Rochelle is a collaborative project between the DRAC, Aliénor.org - Museums Council, IUT of La Rochelle, the History Museum Protestant La Rochelle and the City of La Rochelle (Museums of Art and History, Directorate for Information and Communication Systems). It was developed in preview to La Rochelle. The desire is to improve the visibility of museums to promote the heritage and using local resources.
The application was performed by students of the professional license Computing and Distributed Mobile and Professional license Marketing Services and Information and Communication Technologies with museums support for contents and that of Eleanor .org and the City of La Rochelle for the technical part.
